  • Treasurer of the Central United Church for the past 7 years
  • Coach of Girls Competitive Softball teams for the past 10 years

John Brioux

  • has vast experience dealing with high profile, demanding sports groups
  • travelled with NBA teams to China, Taipei & the Philippines
  • travelled with NHL teams to Russia, Germany, Finland & Sweden
  • travelled with NHL players, staff & officials to the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia in Feb. 2014
  • worked with MLB and Team Canada in the World Baseball Classic – 2006, 2009, 2013
  • spent 12 years as Manager, Team Travel for the Toronto Blue Jays
  • attained a Masters’ degree in Sports Administration from St. Thomas University, Miami, Florida
  • inducted into the University of Waterloo Athletic Hall of Fame

Radomir Kuzilek

MST Rep – Czech Republic

  • Played hockey in Olomouc until junior category
  • First started training and coaching youth hockey players at age 14
  • Graduated through the youth system as a coach in Olomouc
  • Very active in educational programs
  • Travelled with teams to Sweden, Finland, Canada and USA many times
  • Participates in schooling of coaches as a lector
  • Owner of special Czech ice hockey school-summer camp for players from whole hockey world with great educational programs

Mark Elwood

MST – Tour Representative – Switzerland

  • played and coached hockey professionally in Germany, Switzerland and France
  • played junior hockey at St. Mike’s in Toronto
  • captained the hockey team at Brown University in Providence, RI
  • maintains an extensive network of hockey contacts throughout Europe
  • assisted several young North Americans realize their dream of playing hockey in Europe
  • has lived in Europe for over 10 years
  • has extensive knowledge of cultural nuances between North America and Europe based on first hand experience
  • fluent in French and German

Goran Stjarnfeldt

MST Rep – Sweden

  • Lives in Tyringe, SWEDEN
  • Extensive ice hockey experience as a player in Ostberga, Djurgarden and Tryinge
  • As a coach has attained the third of four levels in the Swedish Hockey Federation coaches program
  • Engaged as a coach in the Swedish Hockey Federation coaches program
  • Is proficient in Swedish, English, Danish, Norwegian and German
  • Has travelled with teams to Russia, Finland, Denmark, Germany, Austria, Holland, Spain, France and Canada

Tommy Gustavsson

MST Rep – Sweden

  • Lives in Stockholm, SWEDEN
  • Former team manager for youth and senior teams in Tyreso
  • served over 8 years as a member of the board of Tyreso minor hockey
  • General Manager of several annual international youth ice hockey tournaments
  • One of 3 managers of Tyreso-Hanvikens minor hockey coalition
  • Is proficient in Swedish, English, and German
  • Has travelled with teams throughout Sweden, Finland & Austria

Darcy Brioux

MST – Tour Representative 

  • Co-founder of Moore Sports Tours
  • Holds a Master’s degree in Education from University of Toronto
  • Over 20 years experience consulting, collaborating and advising post-secondary school students, and faculty on leadership, sports and physical education programs
  • Spent over 18 years in a variety of roles at the University of Toronto
  • Has travelled with sports teams to Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Denmark
  • Inducted into the University of Waterloo Athletics Hall of Fame, April 2002

Gary Kamino

MST – Tour Representative 

  • Elementary school principal for over 20 years
  • Holds a BSc in Psychology and a master’ss degree in Educational Administration
  • Active participant in ice hockey, softball, baseball and judo
  • Has travelled internationally with hockey teams to France, Spain, Czech Republic and Austria
  • Has also travelled to Japan, Korea, and throughout the United States for educational seminars and workshops
  • Experienced traveller – Western & Central Europe, Philippines, Hong Kong, Australia, etc.

Bruce Smith

MST – Tour Representative 

  • Extensive international sports travel experience
  • Has travelled on many international hockey tours and spent time in Russia, Finland, Sweden, Spain, Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia, Poland, Italy, Estonia among others
  • Has an intricate knowledge of airline operations and logistics
  • Has extensive volunteer experience in the Markham men’s hockey & slo-pitch leagues

  • Varsity Water Polo 2000/2001, Varsity Swimming 2001 – 2003, Varsity Squash 2003/2004, University of Toronto
